The vibra­tions of the remote-con­trolled speaker cause a peri­od­i­cally repeat­ing spread of the drop con­sist­ing of water, glyc­er­ine and gold pig­ments. Due to this cymatic effect, shape and move­ment of the star can be mod­i­fied by using dif­fer­ent fre­quen­cies.
