Sem­i­nar series on light com­po­si­tions and processes in space plus exhi­bi­tion of the results.

The astro­nom­i­cal phe­nom­e­non of the equinox was the start­ing point of the work­shop, in order to analyse the rela­tion­ship between light and illu­mi­nated objects, spaces and move­ments, and to use it cre­atively. How do vari­able light­ing sit­u­a­tions change the sen­sory expe­ri­ence of iden­ti­cal (spa­tial) com­po­si­tions? How can an inter­play of light and dark be trig­gered and used cre­atively through move­ment or change processes of mate­r­ial, objects or instal­la­tions?

The kinetic light instal­la­tions cre­ated in the work­shop were pre­sented at the end of the win­ter semes­ter 2019/2020 within a cross-room exhi­bi­tion at the Düs­sel­dorf Uni­ver­sity of Applied Sci­ences.
